New boy applique!

I couldn't get my almost 1-year-old to pose for me, so I had to take some action shots of him in his new submarine/tugboat shirt! And I wanted to take a close-up of just the shirt--and then he spit up all over it--isn't that always the case!

There are some items in my store that I will not be able to do because the time involved, but I'll let you know when you email me.
If you are thinking of holiday gifts, I've got SO many cute things! My favorite gifts are my cosmetic bags (just fill them fun bath things or lipgloss and you've got the perfect gift!), kitchen towels, and coffee mugs! For children and babies, I love giving sippy cups, sleepers, and bibs.

Saturday, November 14, 2009

I will not be taking any new orders for a couple of weeks. I am completely swamped with orders right now. I'll let you know when I'm taking orders again! Thanks! Andrea
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Pricing Change:
Applique/name on shirt you send me: $14
I love it when you send me shirts to embroider, but because of the time it takes to put appliques/names on shirts I've had to raise the price. If I already have your shirts, this price change will not affect you! There's no price change in shirts that I provide.
New fabrics
I finally was able to take a picture of my new fabrics, but I haven't been able to number them just yet. I only have a very limited supply of some of these fabrics and once they're gone, they're usually gone for good. And believe it or not, there are still some fabrics that I haven't taken a picture of, so if there is a color scheme you're looking for, just let me know!
Birthday bib and hat
I just made this birthday set for my best friend's baby boy who was turning one! I made the hat and bib to match the color scheme of his party! And both of them looked SOOO cute on him! I can customize the hat and bib to match any theme or color scheme--just ask!
The party hat is the standard party hat size and has ribbons attached so you can tie the hat under their chin. For a girl party hat, I can add a feathery boa around the base! Also, I can put just about anything on the hat--an initial (shown), an applique number, a cupcake. We decided to put an initial on this hat so he can wear it at future birthdays!
Birthday hat: $23
Mason Birthday bib: $15
Tuesday, May 5, 2009
I love these new onesie/bib sets I just did! The bibs are the perfect size for younger babies!
Not sure why this picture is sideways--blogger keeps doing that!
I made this little romper for a little girl whose daddy is being deployed in a few months.
More cross towels!
I'm back!
I am happy to announce that I am taking orders again! It took me a while to get into the groove of things as a new mother! Here are some of the things I've been working on the past week or two!
Kitchen towels:
This is a new kitchen towel I am doing. The fabric is sewn on a waffle weave towel. This one isn't monogrammed--if you are anything like me, I have TOO MUCH stuff in my house with our monogram on it (can't imagine why!) so these towels with add a punch of color to your kitchen. I am working on some more color schemes right now, so stay tuned! Email me if you have a particular color scheme you are looking for! I have a ton of fabrics!
Bibs:
I love these new fabric bibs I'm making! I've already made 6 of them for Luke! You can order these with or without a monogram. I can also make a matching burp cloth for the perfect set! And of course I can use any of my fabrics! These bibs are backed with a really soft minky dot fabric. The bibs pictures are smaller--perfect for babies 0-6 months! I also have another size that would be perfect for older babies and toddlers.
My friend, Carrie, sent me all of Colt's summer shorts for me to make matching shirts. He's going to be one good looking kid this summer! Here's what I came up with! (sorry for the terrible pictures! I was trying to get them taken while Luke was in his swing--and he hates being in his swing for very long!)
Sunday, March 1, 2009
I made these cross shirts/tanks for my friends for Christmas! These are some of my newest fabrics that I picked up when we were in Texas! They look adorable on the tanks!
More kitchen towels!
The price of these kitchen towels (with the whole last name) varies based on number of letters in your last name.
These have definitely been one of the most popular items in my store! They make such great gifts!
I made these next few things for Luke. I know it's crazy that I didn't personalize them with his name! I had to have a few things that didn't say his name on them!
Fabric panel burp cloths--I really like these not being personalized because they can be reused for the next little one in the family!
Some of my newest orders
This is a new cross applique that I have now! I can put either cross on a shirt or kitchen towel. I also just made the cutest matching mother/daughter cross shirts!
Here are some pictures of things I've been working on! Stay tuned for MORE pictures-I'm making new things everyday!
This is a new Thanksgiving kitchen towel I can make-$10.
Fun for a black and red kitchen!
Enclosure cards and business cards!
I actually made the baby and wedding closure cards back in the Spring out of necessity because of all the showers I was going to--I couldn't afford to buy $5 cards for each one, so I just attached one of these enclosure cards to the gift-cheap and adorable!
(Not sure why the chapter and verse are left off of this one card! Oops!)
I made these business cards for my best friend's mom who is selling her beautiful photographs and photo notecards (check her out kaykards.blogspot.com).
I've posted this bib and burp set before, but this time I made a matching nightlight! I just got this pink and brown gingham fabric!
This was for a baby whose mommy doesn't like pink, so she is decorating her nursery in pbkids yellow and black bedding! I like the uniqueness of it!
This design can be put on just about anything--shirt, onesie, bib, burp, etc...
I think this is the first design I've made that my husband has actually been excited about--I just had to make this for our little baby on the way--even though he can't wear it until next year!
New luggage tags and diaper bag tags
Okay the damask print luggage tags may be my new favorite items! I am loving the damask print this summer! I can of course put any design/theme/color on the luggage tags and bag tags!
Luggage/bag tags: $8
Personalized Photo Albums
Okay, I would like to say that I have the time and energy to scrapbook, and I certainly have tried to, but it just never happens! And actually I think I have 800 pictures (no exaggeration!) on my camera right now including my honeymoon pictures from 2 1/2 years ago! So I saw something similar to these albums in a Martha Stewart magazine a few years ago. You just put your pictures in these little photo albums by theme, year, event, etc... Still cute, but more manageable!
So I made a few for my pictures--my class at school, family pics, our vacation....
These albums hold 36 4x6 pictures. These would be PERFECT grandma brag books!! They fit into your purse so well!
But these are just a few I made up. I can certainly design one to fit your theme, so just email me with an idea!
Personalized Photo Album: $10
Oh, I used digital scrapbook paper to do these designs, so the paper is made to look textured and have imperfections. That's why some of the polka dots are perfect dots! My husband was confused, so I thought I'd explain in case you were wondering! :)
Okay, I am a little too late for Mother's Day and Teacher Appreciation gifts, but I have been wanting to do these for a long time, and I just now was able to sit down to make them!
Here's how it works: You send me your's child artwork to scan or you can scan it yourself and email me the jpeg. Then I will place them on notecards with your name or the person receiving the cards!
I have the actual picture that one of my students drew of me (too cute, huh?!) along with my name at the top of the card. The other picture is what the actual notecards look like packaged and ready for gift-giving!
These make a great gift for yourself or for grandmothers! And be sure to keep these in mind next year when you need a unique teacher gift!
There's nothing more personal than your child original artwork!
Embroidery fonts!
Well, I finally got around to making a link that shows some of my embroidery fonts. I do have a few more that I haven't put on the link, but I will be working on that! If you look in the side bar under the picture of me, you will see "Embroidery Fonts". Just click on that, and it will take you to the link. The fonts/stitches don't look very pretty, but don't worry that's just how they look on the computer software. They stitch out beautifully!
New items!
I just wanted to post some pics of some of my latest orders--birthday shirts, towels, and fun summer bibs! I am working on some really cute things right now so check back later in the week for pics!
Monogrammed Damask Beach/Tote bag
Aren't these the cutest little tote bags you have ever seen?!
My good friend, Carrie, found these at a store in Memphis, and I made her buy all the bags they had in the store because they were just too cute! Thank you Carrie!
These bags can be multi-functional--pool, beach, and shopping! I think the bag is really supposed to be a beach tote bag because it is water-resistant and made of a thin canvas-like material, but I am going to use mine as a purse too!
It's 12" x 11" x 3", so it's perfect for holding your magazines, book, or snacks to take to the pool!
The bags come in hot pink, lime, turquoise and can be monogrammed with a single initial or 3 letter monogram (first, LAST, middle).
I have a VERY limited supply of these bags and once they are gone, they're gone for good! So get your order in quickly!
Monogrammed Damask beach/tote bag: $18
Monogrammed Lingerie Bags
This is another new item I am adding to my store! These lingerie bags are the perfect gift for the bride-to-be or even a great little birthday present! I take my bag like this on all my trips, and it keeps all my 'personal items' all in one place. I love it because I don't have to search my entire suitcase to find something I need!
I can monogram either a single initial or a 3 letter monogram (first LAST middle) in any thread color.
I actually gave this bag to one of my friends for a lingerie shower, and I added some cute turquoise lingerie in the bag for the perfect coordinating personalized gift!
The 100% cotton bag
measures 12" x 16" and has satin drawstrings.
This bag can also be used to hold shoes!
Monogrammed lingerie bag: $17
Another gift set!
I had to show off one of the gift sets I made for one of my friends from college who is having her first baby this summer! I was excited to use one of my new fabrics, and to make one of the cute little sleepers for little Sloan! This gift set has two large bibs, one sleeper, one sippy cup, and two diaper bag tags.
Monogrammed Baby Sleeper
Brand new item!
These monogrammed baby sleepers are 100% cotton with an elastic bottom opening for easy dressing and full body warmth! They also have a back sleeve flap to protect the baby from scratching his/her face while they are sleeping.
The sleepers are available in size 3-6 months and come in pink and blue. I can monogram either a single initial or 3 letter monogram (first, LAST, middle).
Monogrammed baby sleeper: $19
MORE FABRIC!
Okay, so I should have stayed away from the fabric store, but I couldn't resist! Here are some of my newest fabrics that I picked up this weekend. I need to get them numbered, I will add them to the fabric link. But I wanted to give you a sneak peek! They would be adorable in an applique rectangle shirt or kitchen towel!
Remember I have very limited quantities of a lot of these fabrics. So if you want to order something using a particular fabric, get your order in sooner rather than later!
Another gift set!
I did this turtle themed gift set for a one year old's birthday party!
Teacher Appreciation gifts!
I have gotten a ton of orders for teacher appreciation gifts this week, and I wanted to post some of the notecards I am making for customers. These cards are perfect by themselves or paired with a tumbler or coffee mug! Great for Teacher Appreciation week or as an end of the year gift!
I've done a couple more designs--I just need to upload them. So check back this weekend!
Summer--It's ALMOST here!
As a teacher, I am so excited about summer coming!! I will finally be able to spend more time embroidering and learning to sew! It's hard to believe that I can embroider all of these things, but am completely clueless about how to sew. So that's my goal for the summer! Stay tuned!!
My wonderful friend from college and old roomie, Carrie, sent me all of her son's (Colt) summer shorts and asked me to make some matching shirts! So here they are! I absolutely LOVE all of them. I can make any of the shirts shown, or I can change the fabrics/thread colors for a little bit different look. I have lots of different summer related designs, so let me know what you are looking for!
